The first part was about garbage and recycling.
The company Secomsa has been making an assessment about recycling and the behavior of residents with the issue of garbage and the result is that there is enough incivility. There is a lot to improve on this topic. The neighbors have to collaborate with a more civic behavior, put the garbage in its place, recycle orderly, throw the vegetable in its container and bulky in yours, and denounce the council when we see people who do not comply with the four basic rules of hygiene and garbage collection. If we see a car that unloads trash improperly, then the license plate is registered and reported to the town hall. As we are not complying with the minimum desirable, soon we will make a talk to improve the subject.
The second part was about the water agreement that the municipality and Comaigua want to approve.
I want to clarify that the city council only asks for the opinion of the neighbors, but does not expect anyone to sign anything. In your case, it would be approved by the municipal Plenary.
An engineer from Comaigua came to explain the situation and presented a proposal for a solution, which could cost approximately € 40 per year more than what we pay now for home. This price is without counting important repairs. It includes what they already do now, plus the control of leaks and pumps. It does not include repairs and renewals of the network, which would be paid separately. The majority of neighbors do not agree with this agreement because it does not specify what the final repairs will be or their cost, and it can be very expensive. In addition, the municipality takes advantage of this agreement to say again and again that we are private and that they force us to do the works, etc. In this whole part we do not agree.
If you do not change the terms of the agreement, we do not want it.
There are neighbors who agree to pay € 40 more per year and not have problems with water. But we must be aware that only € 40 and that all references to the ecu will be eliminated, whether we are private or not and future works.
The town hall closed the session and no conclusion was reached.
